East Palestine High School believes that to be successful, the school and its staff must provide curricular and extracurricular programs that:

- provide a positive, supportive environment
- help students develop social skills necessary to become productive citizens
- promote student responsibility in the learning process.
To assist in the meeting of these goals, active parental and community participation is encouraged.
